Worldchanging: Bright Green: Frameworks for Citizen Responsiveness: Part 1 – Trouble Tickets.

In his ongoing exploration of cities and technology, Adam examines the tools by which urban dwellers can report and resolve non-emergency problems. He uses New York City’s 311 program and the UK’s FixMyStreet program as examples of two good starting points, and builds on these to propose his own list of features for a new framework for citizen responsiveness. Ultimately he suggests that these response frameworks be developed similar to software, and become “trouble tickets”…
